About Me
🏡 Hometown: San Jose, California
📚 Education: B.A. in Spanish; M.S. in Education, Portland State University
I was born in San Jose, California and was raised in Beaverton, Oregon. In 2011 I earned my bachelor's degree and became the first in my family to graduate from college. I bean my professional career working at the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber as a scholarship coordinator. My passion for education led me back to Portland State, where I joined the admissions team in 2013 and continued my education earning a master's degree in 2018. I consider PSU my "second home" and feel fortunate to be part of such an innovative and dedicated team!
- I serve as a liaison for various community partners and sit on number of committees on campus, including the Diversity Scholarship committee, Undocumented Resources Group and Refugee and Immigrant Student Issues.
