Group Visits

Group visits are designed exclusively for high school students (9th-12th grade), teams, or community organizations with 10 or more student participants. Reservations are required.

We are unable to host K-8 group visits, however, we do provide resources for K-8 groups to take self-guided campus tours and learn about our downtown campus.

Group Visit Options

Guided group sessions can be scheduled on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday at 10:00 am-11:45 am and 1:00 pm-2:45 pm Pacific time. We are scheduling up to two group tours (20 student maximum) per week. We may be able to accommodate larger groups, these will be considered on a case-by-case basis. For groups larger than 20 students you must submit your group visit request at least three weeks in advance of your preferred date and time.

We are now accepting reservations for tours through December 2, 2021 (no tours will be offered Thursday, November 11 & 25). We will begin accepting reservations in December for Group tours scheduled for January to March.

Guided Group Visit (In Person)

  • Check-In in the University Welcome Center (15 minutes)
  • Campus Tour (1 hour)
  • Admissions Information Session (30 minutes)

Total Length of Program: 1 hour 45 minutes

Guided Group Visit (Virtual)

  • Pre-Visit Check In (3 minutes)
  • Admissions Information Session (25 minutes)
  • Virtual Campus Tour (25 minutes)
  • Live Student Q&A (10 minutes)
  • Reminders & Announcements (2 minutes)
Total Length of Program: 65 minutes.

Self-Guided Tour Only

Groups interested in exploring PSU on their own or that are unable to secure a date but still intend on visiting campus are encouraged to participate in a self-guided tour. Groups can participate on any date at any time and we can provide print and digital materials to aid you on your tour. Contact us at campusvisits@pdx.edu so we can set aside materials for your group.

CONFIRMATION

We will respond to group visit requests within three business days. If your visit is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email from us. If you do not receive a confirmation email within three business days, check your "spam mail" folder for any correspondence from our office. Otherwise contact us so we can resend a new confirmation email.

LATE/CANCELLATION POLICY

Notify Campus Visits at least one week in advance of your group visit if you need to cancel, modify your agenda or student count. Please notify us as early as possible if you will be late for your group visit. Late arrivals may receive an abbreviated schedule. If a group is a no-show or cancels within one week or less before the scheduled visit we cannot guarantee that we will be able to fulfill subsequent requests from the group.
