    Viking Scholars is a reception held each spring to recognize high-achieving high school juniors from Oregon on Portland State’s campus and honor their hard work and the commitment of their teachers, counselors, mentors, and communities. 

    Students who attend will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship to be applied toward their first year at Portland State University in Fall 2025.
